bonacorsi and I went to
Woodward's Garden last night for a celebratory dinner. It was nice - not spectacular, but nice. Quite intimate. We shared a lovely Dungeness crab & mizuna salad to start. The wife had pasta & green garlic while I had a dry lamb stew, and we split a side order of roasted brussels sprouts. The restaurant has no bar; you have to order a full bottle of wine (otherwise we'd have started with a glass of champagne). We
did get a half bottle of a nice cabernet though.
The bill was quite reasonable. It was worth going to, but with our large restaurant selection, I wouldn't put it on the list of places I have to re-visit.
