Last night I did something I probably should have done five years ago.

We went to a local shire meeting.

The curvy upstairs neighbor was giving a talk on recipe redacting and we tagged along to kibitz. The fuzzy upstairs neighbor came too, making it an impromptu "Bayeux House goes blah on fud".

I think that it's important for peers to go to thier local meetings once in a while.

I wish more peers went to their local group meetings, at least once in a while. Hell, I even went to your local group meeting a few years ago.

I signed up for the shire's email group, and having the reminders may help me to remember to go more often. Long ago I used to attend the meetings on a regular basis.
