madbaker | Geographic oddities

Around the hill from us (at Potrero and 13^th for any who care), there is a confusing six-way intersection. Since the traffic signal only allows one street through at a time, there is a Dept. of Parking & Traffic sign along Potrero that reads:

Tow Away. No stopping at any time.

Fair enough. Except that it's right at the signal. Is this another sneaky fund-raiser?

(DPT siren)"You stopped here. I have to write you a $50 ticket."
"But the light's red!"
"Not my problem, sir. See the sign?"

It also seems strangely appropriate that we live in a town where Faith is a dead-end street.
