Geographic oddities

madbakerAround the hill from us (at Potrero and 13th for any who care), there is a confusing six-way intersection. Since the traffic signal only allows one street through at a time, there is a Dept. of Parking & Traffic sign along Potrero that reads:
(DPT siren)"You stopped here. I have to write you a $50 ticket."
"But the light's red!"
"Not my problem, sir. See the sign?"
Tow Away. No stopping at any time.Fair enough. Except that it's right at the signal. Is this another sneaky fund-raiser?

It also seems strangely appropriate that we live in a town where Faith is a dead-end street.
