Call a flower, salad
This week's Resolution Recipe: Cauliflower Salad.
1 head cauliflower
Parmesan cheese, grated
vinaigrette:
3 parts white wine
2 parts olive oil
1 part white wine vinegar
pinch oregano, dry mustard, salt and pepper
Cook the cauliflower whole in a steamer until fork tender, about 15 minutes. Cool, core, and break it up into flowerets. Toss with the dressing, salt and pepper, and top with the cheese.
What worked: It was certainly easy.
What didn't: It was unexciting.
Will I make it again? Probably not.
