I'm taking today off, so it was annoying that I was awakened at 4:15 AM by the Groom-n'-PurrTM alarm system. Yes, I love you too, kitty. But.

We're driving up to Plumas County (about six hours away, bleah) to visit my dad for the weekend. The wife is busy installing some magnetic catches on the kitchen cabinets, as Galen has figured out how to open them properly. He hooks a paw in the handle and pulls just like we do. 'Course, sometimes it will close behind him and he hasn't learned that he needs to push to get back out...

He was very interested in the drill this morning. Wish I'd had a camera to capture the image of him sitting on the drill sniffing away. Cat with power tools, scary. I don't want to live Get Fuzzy!

Awwww!!!

By the way, Squire Harri is still alive and well...he just turned 13 in April! (http://www.livejournal.com/users/talonvaki/969620.html) He's still the same character he's always been...

No, that should be, "Yes, I love you too, kitty butt." :)

Gremlin has become exceedingly cute as she gets older. I think she feels colder, so she demands to curl against my side under the covers when I sleep. This started back in the winter and has persisted even now.

I think my cats are much happier now that we're not moving as often. Aurora in particular comes out of her own volition and politely asks for pets and treats once Mordecai is locked away for the night.

Heh. Yeah, you probably don't want to live it, but life would never be dull!

Hey, my first clue as to who you were was when you mentioned Squire Harri. How have you been?

[identity profile] talonvaki.livejournal.com 2004-06-11 01:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd have thought "Talonvaki" would have been kind of a hint..hehehe...

I'm good. Living in Boston. Not doing much...just seeing movies and...I dunno...being an easterner. Heh.

Crikey! How have you been?

Heh. You'd be amazed who's out here. About half the GSP are here ... of course, some of them are folk you wouldn't recognize.

Well...I don't know why it never occurred, but it didn't.

You and A. are so added, however...

er, I think I have a similar alarm system in my house. At least it stays in its box and mutters at me to be let out. It goes off latter in the morning as well. When I am stumbling about on the early days (5AM), I am the one that wakes it up! It seems just as pleased to see me as when it does the waking. I wish I could say the same for me on days when I would like to sleep in...

The Bozo-cat has managed to get herself locked and stuck in some very interesting places. I wonder if they plot to find the most maddening spots?
