Desperately stupid management directives demand an equal and opposite reaction.

I had to self-review once. Like a total dits I had to go and be honest, instead of recommending a raise and promotion like everyone else in my group did. Most of the people who asked for a raise got one. On the other hand, we were all laid off 6 months later...
