I took yesterday off from work. Partly I had some errands to run, but mostly I needed a break - even with Monday as a holiday, it's been rough lately. I mostly avoided the office, got out from the house to run the errands and go for a walk in a different area, and did some reading. I didn't get banana bread baked but that's okay; I can do it today or tomorrow.

I needed a break. And that's exactly what I got.

I also took Friday off, which is going to make things at work a bit difficult, but I really needed the time. A 4 day weekend feels like what is needed right now, which is nuts. I have been contemplating just doing 3-day weekends until the SiP order is lifted for office workers.
