Kitten-Waffling

A friend of ours had a kitten walk up to her. The kitten isn't chipped and doesn't seem to belong to anyone local, but is incredibly snuggly. The friend already has cats and was offering the kitten to a good home.

The wife and I were not thinking about another cat yet. But... high on our list is a lap and/or snuggly cat, which this one clearly is. She's also a tiger-stripe, which is not a type I've ever had but have always liked.

We've waffled back and forth about whether we're ready. I'm more on the yes than the no side, because while I'm not thinking about having a cat yet, she really seems like a good fit for us. It's not like we're going anywhere any time soon so there would be plenty of time to bond before taking any long trips.

Ultimately I think we're waffling enough that we won't take her.

I would love to have a cat, but David doesn't want one in the house, and consent of the other owner really matters. I hope that either you take this kitten, or it gets a much better offer elsewhere!

There is at least one other house interested in her, so I am not concerned that she won't go to a good home.
