Ready for a whine? Very well. Then we'll begin.

The cat kept us awake between 1 and 3 AM (I get up at 4). More details later.
10 minute frantic search for my keys - which I eventually found in the wife's purse. Don't know why she put them there.
Complete sodden downpour. My onramp turns into a lake even in light rain; it was at least halfway up my wheels today.
Idiots driving 70 when I can barely see the road with wipers on maximum.

At least I made it here, more or less on time (which is why I always come in early) and without any accidents.

Can't you shut the door and keep the cats out?

Galen is smart and has figured out how to open the doors in the house. Also, I believe he whines piteously if locked out...

Actually, he doesn't whine. He scratches incessantly - no easier to block out for sleep.
