A Bad Day at the Ballpark, part 2
May. 14th, 2004 10:00 amStill better than a good day at work.
10 of us from work went to the Giants game yesterday... I took the day off, since I live pretty close to the ballpark and I didn't want to bother with driving down the Peninsula and then back again.
(Note to
fionnbharro: I wrote "peninsula".)
One of my cow-orkers is a limited partner in Momo's, across the street from Pac Bell Park, so we met there. Fud and drink was on him - as a partner he gets a certain amount free every year. Nice bennie. Needless to say, it got very drunk out. I stuck to beer so I was much more coherent than the others who were downing cocktails...
The Giants lost, but even without the alcohol it would have been a good time. We were in the left field bleachers close to the field and it was a beautiful day!
