Jun. 24th, 2004 07:17 amThe Giants game Tuesday was good. Beautiful evening, if windy - one advantage to sitting in the nosebleed seats is that the overhang shields some of the breeze. The Giants won in a nailbiter (it really was closer than the final score would indicate) to take over first place. Good catching up with the friend who supplied the tickets.
I took yesterday off - after getting home at 11 PM, there was no way I was getting up at four-in-the-bleeding-AM. I didn't wake up until 7! I needed the sleep after this weekend, too.
Much lounging, then off to see Shrek 2. Fun, if not as hilarious as the first movie. Banderas nailed the Puss character, and I'm glad that Galen can't watch the movie - he already does the "doe eyes before attacking" cute thing.
Not pleased to be at work today, obviously, but what the hey.
What I'm reading: Peter F. Hamilton, The Reality Dysfunction, part I
