One more day off

goldenstag did a good enough job summarizing Saturday evening that I won't bother, except to add that the excuse was the upstairs neighbors' tenth anniversary as a couple.

Went to the GSP picnic yesterday, had a good low-key time socializing in the great outdoors. Lovely weather. Fun folks. Splendid food (I think this is our best potluck yet!) and I was very happy with the Peach Melba pie. I'll post the recipe sometime later. The troupe decided to do The Jealous Baker commedia scenario for this year's play. I had obvious leanings towards that one, but truthfully I would have been happy with any of the scenarios we were considering. Now I have to successfully audition...

Time to get a second cup of coffee, warm up leftover scones from yesterday morning, and make pesto omelets.
