Come on, baby don't you want to go

The wife and I fly out tomorrow morning for a long weekend in Chicago. I'm looking forward to it, despite the mugginess and general ick that is Midwestern weather to a thin-blooded Californian. We'll wander about by the lake, take in a museum or two, see a Cubs game at Wrigley. I've never been to a major league game outside CA.

I'm going to be geeky and bring my work-issued laptop, so I may be able to read my webcomics and LJ. But we'll see - it's not the top priority, obviously.
