Jun. 4th, 2006 05:09 pmWe finally got around to trying Pachi's for brunch today. (It's apparently been renamed "Karamanduka" for six months, but the old website is still around and the menu is still correct, so whatever.)
A bit of a haul for brunch - I'm not entirely sure it's that much of a destination restaurant, but still good food. Also, I like to eat well before they open at 11 AM. It would be a good place to go with a bunch of people to try more of the various dishes. The relleno the wife and I split was faboo, although nothing like a standard Mexican chile relleno. The two sandwiches we had were fine although less adventurous than I would have liked in retrospect. The Peruvian fruit drink the wife had was really good, and I might order that next time instead of coffee. With or without the added champagne.
I'd go back. No hurry, but well worth putting in the address book.
