What I'm reading: Harry Turtledove, The Grapple

So starts the Month of Baseball.

Today: vacation day; go watch the Giants run their losing streak to ten games.
this weekend: fly to Phoenix to stay with a college buddy and catch a Diamondbacks game on Saturday.
Next Wednesday: A's game with cow-orkers. Dollar Dog Day!
Two Wednesdays after that: Giants game with cow-orkers. Suspense: will their losing streak have hit 25?

Ah well, the Giants suck but it's still baseball.
