From painful and shattery experience, we do not leave tall glasses unattended on the kitchen table. Or, indeed, anywhere that might be accessible to the cat. Galen - He Who Makes Vertical Things Horizontal - has a tendency to knock them over. With a granite floor, that usually means bye-bye.

Juice-type glasses seem to be okay, though; they're short enough that they apparently don't trigger the vertical reflex.

A couple days ago I found out that mugs do. Oh well, we still have plenty.
Sigh.

I don't remember how this was recommended, but I'm glad it made its way into the queue. So far we've watched two of the four seasons.

Take The Sting and update it to modern London. A team of grifters cons dishonest marks out of their money in elaborate schemes. Stars Adrian Lester (who I first saw in Love's Labour's Lost) and Robert Vaughn as his American con mentor.

It's well written and, despite knowing that there's often a twist, I don't necessarily figure it out ahead of time. I probably won't watch them again, but they are definitely worth a rental.
