Book Event: Come to the Mechanics' Institute for a French Bistro Lunch in the cafe, then tour the culinary side of Paris with author and popular blogger Clotilde Dusoulier, of "Chocolate & Zucchini" fame. In her latest book, Clotilde's Edible Adventures in Paris (Broadway Books), Dusoulier reveals her favorite food experiences in her native city. Pure Dessert Book Release Party: To help celebrate the release of our friend Alice Medrich's new cookbook Pure Dessert, St. George Spirits/Hangar One will be hosting a book signing party on Friday, May 9th, from 5 pm to 8 pm. A small sampling of desserts from the book will be available, along with light snacks and a cocktail designed by Alice herself! What better way to start the weekend than by eating dessert first?
$15 admission ($10 can be applied towards the purchase of the book)
