Progress? Report
Sep. 28th, 2008 10:01 amSo, the introductory first week of school is over. From now on it's almost entirely on Saturdays. I already have homework.
The class is 29 people, from a wide variety of backgrounds. For example, there's a military major in charge of the campus ROTC program; a scion of a well-known local gourmet chocolate company (not working for them, alas for us); and a former professional women's soccer player.
They threw a dinner for us at One Market - partly because the chef/owner is a school grad. It was decent but I suspect it's overpriced if it's on your own dime. Strictly speaking, this was on our dime - it's just included in the tuition.
