bonacorsi and I met etaine_pommier, J!, and an out-of-town visitor for an evening at Bourbon & Branch. It was loads of fun: good booze, good chattage, not a horrendous hit to the wallet. Etaine & I tried each tried one of their special "Cocktail Week" libations. I'm sad that mine won't be on the menu regularly. They called it a "Youngblood" and the base was plum-infused cognac, an herbal that I don't remember, lemon juice and a twist of orange. It was utterly fabulous.
The waitress was quite nice (and easy on the eyes) and brought us a free "Blood and Sand" after I mentioned liking one the previous visit. It was still good. She got a nice tip.
Got to bed late, but well worth it. Not feeling over-tired today thankfully.
