I dreamed that I was in a high school-like drama class with aimeric, and his final project was doing Waiting for Godot. But the other person doing the show with him flaked, so he asked me to step in. "There's only one monologue you need to memorize," he said. "We can improv the rest."

Fortunately or un, the dream ended with me starting to memorize the one paragraph speech. I'd be curious to see what my subconscious made of the show.

Met the wife and etaine_pommier on the Embarcardero for happy hour. The Hotel Vitale does a fine sidecar. And the bartender comped us an extra round, which ensured them a good tip but did nothing for our sobriety. Good thing we took public transit.

It was a faboo way to spend a couple hours. Good chattage, good drinkage.
