Hopefully this works, for several reasons.

A couple nights ago bonacorsi gave in to the cat yowling by putting down a bowl of dry food. Now, we stopped giving him much dry food because he was throwing up, and since he's seriously underweight that's the last thing we want. However, this time not only did he keep it down - but he stopped yowling and slept quietly through the night. Same thing last night.

If this works, all three of us will be happier.
