(no subject)

Investiture was fun. We left shortly after Devestiture - I've always kind of looked askance at people who did that, because it can be seen as a political (or other) statement. I will say that we personally were not making a Statement. I don't know the new Prince, although I've heard nice things about him. For us it was simply that we've been busy the last six months and we were Done.

We did stop for a root beer float on our way out of town as a spur-of-the-moment treat. It was nice. We don't do that very often.

Party at ysabella_dolfin's was lots of fun. I chatted with lots of people, some of whom I haven't chatted much in the past. We left earlyish as I was falling asleep, though.
