Beat LA

The wife and I went to a Giants game last night. It was ostensibly a college alumni event, but I wasn't feeling it so we bagged the drinks with the group beforehand. We didn't particularly interact with the alums around us (none were ones I knew, which I expected). But I had a great time - the Giants won over the Dodgers, always a good thing, and just-called-up Brandon Belt hit a home run in his first at-bat. The seats weren't fabulous as they were right around the left field foul pole. But it was a baseball game, and I've missed going to them. Well worth getting home at 10:30 and feeling tired this morning.
