Worst. Day. Ever.
Jan. 12th, 2012 07:38 amFor Galen, anyway...
He had a teeth-cleaning appointment. Since he needed to be dropped off at 8 and I needed to leave much earlier than that, I helped the wife stuff the cat into his carrier around 6:30. (Several times.) Apparently he yowled for the next hour.
The anaesthetic, tooth-cleaning, etc. all went as expected. He has a couple tooth fractures and is missing the end of one, but fortunately for him and our wallet did not need any extractions. It took a while for the vet tech to bring him out; in her words Galen was "being feisty." He was growling and spitting in his carrier when I got him, which he almost never does. Then he yowled the entire drive home.
He spent the evening alternating between bonking us and not trusting us. His shaved leg looks silly. Now if we could only get him to floss he'd never go through this again.
