Friday evening we dressed up a bit and went to La Folie, to indulge before Prohibition takes effect. Fairly crowded even at our 5:45 arrival, but we found two seats right away. We indulged in the seared foie gras - absolutely lovely. One of the cocktails I tried was called "The Bitter End" and it had some similar profile notes to "The Black Prince" made by Smuggler's Cove. I suspect there's a common bittering agent.

Off to get dressed for a wedding now.
