Jan. 3rd, 2018 09:00 amAt my dad's suggestion we bought a Roku streaming stick. Or whatever they're called. We've always blamed AT&T for throttling our data, and that may still be true; but apparently the TV may be more to blame and this should bypass the issue. At the cost of $30 or whatever, and having yet another remote to lose. (We briefly were down to two. Now back up to four. Le sigh.)
We won't really know if it works until we try to download something from Netflix on a weekend, but the one show we watched last night loaded much more quickly than normal. Here's hoping throwing a small amount of money at a problem actually works.
