Nov. 8th, 2018 07:27 amGalen continues to do okay. He still spends most of his time sleeping in his heated bed, and he doesn't play, but he seems healthy and pain-free.
He's shedding like a... shedding thing right now. We're brushing him quite a bit but a couple days ago when he groomed me after work, I had a fistful of fur on my shirt. This also means he's having hairballs.
I woke up for no apparent reason around 12:30 or so and was awake for a couple hours, so I was awake and cleaned up his hairball. He wanted to groom me afterwards, of course, and then left to drink some water. Eventually I fell back asleep. I was in the middle of a dream when Galen jumped up on the bed, nudged me until I woke up and assumed the grooming position, and he walked up my chest... and gave me one lick. And left. Little snot. Why couldn't he just curl up around my knees instead?
