Galen had a routine check-up last week. He's up 1/3 of a pound since the previous one. Nowhere enough - he's around seven pounds and should be in the ten to eleven range - but any increase is good news. We took him to the emergency vet clinic; they're much higher-priced than our previous vet, but they're also less than ten minutes from our house. The previous vet is 30 to 40 minutes away, and the extra time in the carrier and car does a huge number on Galen's stress levels.
