boozy eggnog: not yet started. First I have to separate the eggses.

I'm also thinking about ordering a small case of San Marzanos from our CSA for pickup next Thursday. That would mean next weekend's project is tomato paste. (One case pretty much equals about a gallon of paste. We go through about 1.5 gallons in a given year, but we still have a gallon in the freezer downstairs.)
I've been trying to use at least one thing from the freezer each week. That ensures that we're not just hoarding stuff (which we, and the neighbors, have a tendency to do). There's a random packet* of fresh sausages we're going to smoke for tonight's dinner with potatoes and salad.
*By which I mean we have no idea what it is. The label "C&K sausage" is not helpful.
