Mar. 12th, 2020 07:06 amGalen is increasingly creaky. He spends most of his time sleeping in his bed (which has a heating pad underneath). He cuddles, but doesn't purr much. He's not gaining any weight and looks very skinny. He's been mostly shunning the unicorn meat vet food; we have been able to get him to eat cooked chicken breast, but that's about it. He does seem to love that, at least. I'm sure it's not a complete diet but with his intestinal problems, getting calories in him is probably more important than making sure he has all the vitamins.
We knew he was on borrowed time after the last crisis - but it's still painful. We're just trying to prolong his time as long as it seems worthwhile for him. (Twice a day renal gel forced down his throat, for example.)
