Dooty

I got a jury duty notice yesterday. Philosophically, I feel it's an important civic duty and I do not try to weasel out of them. (Although if called for a lengthy trial, I will genuinely argue that as a partner in our company, I cannot afford to take weeks or months off.)

But here's what annoys me: it is two years to the week that I last served - the exact minimum time. I am assuming that having not been called the last time 'round bumped me to the top in the system.
