Aug. 16th, 2021 11:30 amMiss Bea has continued to demand as much mousie-killing time as we will give her. She has solidified her rituals: mousie-onna-wire is mostly killed on the hall rug. She parades it into the kitchen, around the table, and back to the rug. Which means we have to follow her to untangle the attached stick handle from the chairs, table legs, etc. And then pick it back up on the rug for more play.
She has also been quite snuggly. Both of these could be reactions to not having another cat around for rough-housing and cuddling. Or she could just be becoming a bit more assertive without another cat to compete.
Bea also was brave enough to briefly watch the neighbors at dinner from the hall. It was probably the first time they've seen her in person rather than the spammed pictures.
