We just haven't been feeling it for some time now. There are some side issues (not wanting cats to climb/play with ornaments) but really we just haven't wanted to bother with the holiday decoration thing, so we... haven't. That didn't change this year (we had the ritual discussion where both of us went "...Nah") but the wife spotted a Christmas tree-shaped cat igloo and bought it.
Miss Bea investigated it but so far hasn't gone back in. I hope she does so I can get the adorable picture.
In other news, the wife has a cold and I started coming down with it yesterday, so I am working from home the rest of the week. She got a quick COVID test for peace of mind, but it's going the classic cold symptom route.
