(no subject)

My alarm went off. I woke up, looked at the clock, and it was two hours before the alarm. I had dreamed it going off. I wasn't really able to get back to sleep after that.

I pulled my lunch bag out of the fridge, and pulled out the small tub of mozzarella balls with it. The tub hit the floor, cracked, and spilled brine all over the floor. At least none of the cheese spilled out.

The newspaper wasn't delivered today, and my tablet was inexplicably unable to download today's issue.

I am going to get a second cup of coffee, because apparently it's that sort of day.

Edited to add: The coffee shop was closed. Because of course they were.
