Sorry, [livejournal.com profile] deathbytamarind; I have yet to see Noah Lowry effective at a game. Obviously I shouldn't go to games where he starts.

The seats we had were primo - 5th row behind home plate. It's a shame the Giants sucked so much: when the manager calls a pitch-out, the runner is going, and the throw is on the money, that should be an out, right? Unless you're Ray Durham, in which case you drop the ball and let the runner take third. The Giants gave up seven runs in the fifth inning; Jamey Wright, on his first pitch, bounced it fifteen feet short of the plate - and over the backstop. Wright walked in a run, re-loaded the bases, got pulled... and Munter did the same. It bit.

Yeah, Bonds hit a home run. If the Giants had been at all competent defensively, they would have won.

This was probably my last game of the season. I'm tired this AM as I only got five hours' sleep. It's too bad that the game itself was so sloppy.

BRAAAAAINS!
