Dec. 21st, 2006 06:53 amI forgot to set my alarm last night. This meant that I woke up almost exactly an hour late. Most of the time, Galen wakes up before my alarm goes off, walks up my body, and grooms me. This of course wakes me up, because it's impossible to sleep when a purring sandpaper tongue is exfoliating your face.
This morning, when it would have helped - not so much. He stayed curled up between our knees, where it was warm.
Somewhat ironically, shortly before I woke up I was dreaming about driving up the Peninsula to meet the upstairs neighbors and other friends in San Francisco, and running late.
