For Bastille Day this weekend, we watched two movies with a (admittedly, tenuous) link.
The Netflix rental was The Triplets of Belleville. Fun and worth a rental, although definitely odd. We especially liked that the dog had doggy-like behavior.

We also went to see Ratatouille. It was fun. I particularly liked Anton Ego, with his coffin-shaped office and skull typewriter.

I sang La Marseillaise on a ridgetop in Santa Cruz on Saturday. It echoed nicely.

I need to see Ratatouille. Triplets was fun for me. Soundtrack is, too.

The frogs just killed me... and the falling-over-backwards bit, which is how I feel every time I'm in a car driving up vermont on the other side of your hill...
