A&S redux

Two very cool things from the event this last weekend that I forgot to mention:
The finials with the big gold balls look faboo. bonacorsi did a ton of work on them, and it shows. The fluttering silk fabric is nice; it'll be even better when the wife finishes our banners.

The Leaf scroll that kahnegabs and ermine_rat did for me is incredible. I'm looking forward to spending lots of money framing it so it can go on the wall.

Trying to sail in on borrowed glory here, I'm going to leap in re: the scroll and say, "And I helped!" Of course, my assistance was limited to making little suggestions about content, and scanning & sending a couple of pages out of Catherine of Cleves, but I'll take vicarious credit, no matter how little deserved ;-D

I'm thrilled that you like your scroll. Rat did the callig, and I got a lot of advice from Teresa. I really enjoyed making it for you, and now I'm hooked on Catherine of Cleaves. I wonder if there's a fisherman out there who needs a scroll.... you see I've got this idea about a fish border....
