Buddy usually gets pissy with me when I change the sheets on my bed, because I have to pick him up off the bed. He goes "mrrraaaaaa" and then pouts all day.

I don't know what's funnier - Galen's crossed eyes, or the idea of you crawling under the covers to get that shot.

Zootie helps us when we make the bed - it's one of the only times he casts aside his usual diffidence and turns into a crazed ball of feline terror.

Wendigo loses her mind at the rustle of fresh sheets as well and spazzes out, racing back and forth on the bed while I try to make the bed around her antics. As a result, almost all my sheets have tiny, cat-claw size holes all over them. It looks like I have an infestation of mini-moths.

Hemi will crawl under the covers with us in the winter, but only with us and only when invited.

It's odd that she's so sheepish about it, considering the number of things she shouldn't be doing that she still doesn't think twice about - like trying to get into my closet every time I grab my coat in the morning.

Tocatta and Dorian love it when we change the sheets on the bed. They get so excited they wrestle with each other and pounce on the wrinkles and air pockets.

Of course they won't let us get them off the bed once they realize that we are making it, so they usually get buried under different layers of blankets, where they wrestle with each other, unmaking any attempt we had of smoothing the covers.

Merlin does this, too. Occasionally we forget that she's under there, since at times she'll decide to stay for hours.
