madbakerI didn't sleep very well last night. There was the usual melange of life anxieties going on in my brain. Plus, once I finally did fall back asleep, I had a - well, not disturbing, but perhaps more annoying SCA dream.
I was on court for the new Prince of the Mists.* Said Prince was not just a fighter-jock: he was a newbie/fringie jerkwad. He took "The Royalty's Word is Law" waaaay too literally and made all sorts of idiot-type proclamations, like "My Court shall follow me in breaking this signpost". I kept trying to dissuade him, and when I gave up in disgust and resigned from Court, he told me I wasn't allowed to.
*Disclaimer: as far as I am aware, thankfully no one of this description has been Prince. My subconscious made this up.
