Galen's teeth are in fine shape. This is because he likes the taste of the poultry-flavored toothpaste for dogs (it's the same stuff as the malt-flavored ones for cats) so when we smear it on a Q-Tip, he gnaws it all around the inside of his mouth.

We're almost out of it. We bought more, but apparently Virbac - the makers of Petrodex - have changed the formula as well as the packaging in the last five years. Galen won't touch the new stuff. Aargh.

Mighty hunter Galen forced me to wait on my shower this morning, because he was stalking a six-legged spider in the tub. Said spider was missing two legs on one side so it couldn't go up the side, just round and round the tub floor. Making it easier for Galen to stalk.

Poultry flavored toothpaste? Where can you find it? Buddy's teeth aren't doing so hot so I've been looking for ways to get his dental health better. Aside from holding him down and brushing his teeth. That would be World War III, let me tell you.

There's a peanut butter flavored one too. Some dogs prefer that.
