Not only are they usually cheaper, they're less crowded, and finding seats is usually very easy.
I took the boys (ages 14 and 3) to see WALL-E yesterday morning -- it was younger boychild's first 'movie theatre' experience -- and, while there were about a dozen 'under-fives' in there, they were all well-behaved and quiet. The problem was one adult on her cell-phone, giving a running commentary about the movie to the person on the other end.

Finding center seats was *easy*, too.
And I thought it was Pixar's best in years.
