We watched the 1981 version of Macbeth with Jeremy Brett and Piper Laurie. It wasn't bad - I've seen far worse. The costumes, though... Big poofy hair with headbands, full beards, short tunics, dance tights, and boots above the knees.

[livejournal.com profile] bonacorsi pointed out that they looked like SCA photos from the '70s.
