Bad Idea #1: Leaving a square Pyrex on the kitchen table. Galen has demonstrated a significant habit of pushing things to shatter on the stone floor. They're usually vertical things that he makes horizontal, though, so this seemed like a safe bet.

Bad Idea #2: I've been slammed by a cold, so I let myself sleep in today. Galen has been accustomed to having food much earlier. (He doesn't necessarily eat it, but he likes the staff serve him, I guess.) Since both bonacorsi and I were still in bed...

Combine Bad Ideas 1 and 2 for a spectacular crash and shattering. I preferred our previous cat's trick of jumping onto our bladders to get us up.

I will feel less guilty shoving him into the cat carrier for his annual vet visit today.

Elspeth gave me a whole pile of pyrex she's not using anymore, if you'd like a slightly used but in one peice 8x8 let me know. I could pass it to Juana at the dance ball, if I remember to pack it.
