madbakerVery long day yesterday. Up at 4:30 (well, the alarm went off then anyway) and out the door by 5:30. Took off work half an hour early at 2:30 PM to go downtown, to hear an ex-Fed member opine about the state of the economy and how the gummint is handling things. (Summary: we're screwed.) Then walked down to near the Ferry Building to have dinner with a broker and hear another economist opine about the state of the economy. (Summary: we're not screwed.) Walked in the door back home at... 9:15 PM.
It's tired out today. Although walking over to Blue Bottle Coffee is helping quite a bit.
What I'm reading: sadly, had to give up on Fool for now - it's due back at the library today. Attempting Jack McDevitt, Polaris.
