Pho ga rhymes with foie gras

madbakerBut tastes nothing like. It's Vietnamese chicken noodle soup, and Turtle Tower's version is on the 7x7 SF 100 Things to Eat Before You Die. Since 1) I didn't bring a lunch today (why didn't I make a sandwich with house-cured pastrami? Oh well) and 2) my boss is on vacation, I walked the four blocks over from work.
Fud: It was just right today. Broth, chicken bits, yummy noodles, cilantro - not much else.
Price: Cheap.
Atmosphere: pretty crappy. What do you expect when entrees run $6?
Will I go back? I think so. It's cheap and a good comfort food, especially if I'm feeling under the weather.
I don't plan on reviewing all of them, but I will as I am inspired to do so. I'm up to 36 now.
