Bake a yellow genoise cake with hazelnuts and chocolate ganache.

I'm thinking I'd have better luck poaching salmon if I ran off to Scotland with a yew bow & clothyard shaft and formed a trusty band of outlaws. Is it okay to steal the salmon from Safeway instead? Also, after you broil the rutabagas and turnips and radishes, are you supposed to actually eat them? I subsituted Diet Coke for the champagne (which I'm allergic to), and a Duncan Hines yellow cake and a can of chocolate frosting for the cake, and, meaning no disrespect to you or Dawn, subsituted Ken in the Sweetie role. I hope that was okay, too.

Silly person, poaching wild salmon is no more difficult than poaching wild pheasant! Simply sew sleeping pills inside raisins and drop the doctored raisins where the salmon will find them. Crazy for raisins, they are. Then you wait for them to fall asleep & bag 'em.

At least, that's how Roald Dahl did it...
