I tried the 3300 Club for Irish coffee, a place that the Comicle had listed as one of the few still using the correct glasses. They didn't have any cream. The bartender offered to make it with milk, but I left.
Later on in the day I remembered that the Phoenix is an Irish bar down the street from Borderlands, the sci-fi bookstore in the Mission that I buy from. I had a book I needed to pick up anyway, so I dropped in. Proper glasses, heated up with water before the coffee is poured in, and it was tasty. So now I have an acceptable place to get Irish coffee, and it's even relatively close.
