birthday evening (what there was of it)

Wife's birthday was low-key - she had school and didn't get home until close to 7 PM. Still, dinner, dessert, and conversation.

I bought her The Book of Bunny Suicides, because I couldn't resist. It went over well.
(Whew.)

My mother gave us How to Massage Your Cat, by Alice Brock of Alice's Restaurant fame. Very odd but amusing.
